Who doesn’t love a classic banana bread recipe? What’s even better is the one that simplifies the recipe by using a Bisquick mix. This pancake mix is a secret ingredient for quick and delicious banana bread.

Ingredients

  • 2 ⅔ cups Bisquick Mix
  • 1 ⅓ cups mashed bananas ripe bananas are the best
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan and set it aside.
  • Stir together bananas, sugar, milk, oil, vanilla, and eggs in a mixing bowl. Once mixed, add in Bisquick mix. Mix until combined (avoid over-mixing).
  • Pour the batter into the loaf pan.
  • Bake for 45-55 minutes. To check the doneness, insert a toothpick into the center. The loaf is done if the toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let it cool for 10 minutes before removing it from the bread pan. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use extra ripe bananas to achieve the best flavor. To ripen a banana faster, place them in a brown bag and close the top loosely. They will ripen in 24 hours.
  • If you’re lucky enough to have any banana bread leftover, then use it for banana bread French toast.
