Ingredients
1/2cupMayonnaise
1/2cupsour cream
1/4 to 1/2cupbuttermilkstart with 1/4 cup and gradually add more to reach your desired consistency
3/4teaspoondried dill
1/2teaspoondried parsley
1teaspoongarlic powder
1/4teaspoonsalt
1/8freshly ground black pepper
1teaspoonfreshly squeezed lemon juice
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, whisk together mayo, sour cream, and buttermilk until smooth. I recommend starting with 1/4 cup buttermilk and gradually adding more to reach your desired consistency.
Add dill, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a separate small bowl. Whisk until combined.
Combine the mayo mixture with the seasoning.
Add in the lemon juice. Mix well. (Taste and add more salt if needed)
Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Notes
This homemade ranch dressing will last for up to a week in the refrigerator.
You can use white vinegar instead of lemon juice in this recipe.
