This recipe for Italian truffle sauce is made with black truffles, garlic, butter, olive oil, and beef stock. In Italy, there are two kinds of truffles; white and black. Black truffles are more common, while white truffles are more rare and expensive.

- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the olive oil, ground black pepper, and the crushed garlic.
- Cook for about 30 seconds. Add the freshly grated black truffle and cook for another 30 seconds.
- Pour in the stock and stir well to combine. Remove the garlic cloves.
- Serve the cooked tagliatelle pasta with the truffle sauce, and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese and additional black pepper.
