Easy Ground Pork Sausage and Vegetables Recipe

Ground Pork Sausage and Vegetables are loaded with ground sausage, colorful veggies, and full of flavor! Easy to make and perfect for a quick weeknight dinner!
Servings 6

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil divided
  • 20 ounces ground pork sausages sliced
  • 1 red onion sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper sliced
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a large skillet over medium heat add 1 tablespoon olive oil.
  • Once hot, add sliced sausages and cook until it’s nicely browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add the rest of the olive oil. Then add the sliced onions and bell peppers.
  • Cook for a few minutes until slightly soft.
  • Add the garlic, oregano, basil, chicken broth, and salt to taste. Return the sausage back to the pan and cook until the sausage is completely cooked through. Serve and enjoy!
