Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup buttermilk start with 1/4 cup and gradually add more to reach your desired consistency
  • 3/4 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together mayo, sour cream, and buttermilk until smooth. I recommend starting with 1/4 cup buttermilk and gradually adding more to reach your desired consistency.
  • Add dill, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a separate small bowl. Whisk until combined.
  • Combine the mayo mixture with the seasoning.
  • Add in the lemon juice. Mix well. (Taste and add more salt if needed)
  • Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Notes

  • This homemade ranch dressing will last for up to a week in the refrigerator.
  • You can use white vinegar instead of lemon juice in this recipe.
