Today marks one week since I’ve been on Nutrisystem. It’s been a week of learning about all the different Nutrisystem foods, looking at nutritional information on labels and menus in restaurants and figuring out how to change my eating habits. So, did it pay off? This morning I weighed myself & here are the results:
Sexy pajama pants, right?!
Starting Weight: 241.8 (March 11th, 2013)
Week 1 Weight: 236.3
Weight Lost: 5.5 Pounds! I am so excited by that number! I am fairly certain I’ve never lost that much in a week before!
I just bought a new scale on Amazon & it’s supposed to get here today. It’s the #1 best seller on Amazon, plus had great reviews AND it was under $30! Can’t wait to test it later and see if my scale was close at all!
So, what have I learned this week? I learned that I was eating WAY too much food before I started Nutrisystem, too many of the wrong things and eating to cover my feelings. When I feel hungry, I grab something like string cheese, a yummy nonfat Greek yogurt or fruit. I’ve been drinking a minimum of 64 oz. of water a day.
Want to see what I ate in a typical day this past week?
Morning
Nutrisystem Double Chocolate Muffin
Strawberry Protein Shake
Morning Snack
String cheese & an apple
Lunch
Nutrisystem Beef, Cheese & Bean Burrito
FF Greek yogurt
Orange
Afternoon Snack
1 cup grapes
Dinner
Ate out at a restaurant. I chose something with lots of veggies, low calories and fat. I made sure to look at the menu online first so I wouldn’t go inside and be tempted by other things on the menu
Dessert
Nutrisystem Cheesecake Bar
I’m really proud of what I did this past week and look forward to Week 2!
Starting next week, I am going out of town with the family for a week. What are some tips you have to lose weight but still have fun while on vacation?

Good luck on this! I would be happy to help you if it doesn’t work out. I have a few secrets you won’t find elsewhere.
I cannot give you any tips. Weight gain is a major problem. I hope you have success with Nutrisystems. With my experience the weight only returns when you quit
eating their food.
Getting off to a great start is really motivational. I see that you are keeping up with protein at every meal. That’s important to help you feel full and decrease cravings. Go, You!!
I wanted to see the start of weight loss with the program. Congratulations on your 5.5! I’m trying also to change my eating habits and also drink up to 64 ounces of water daily and walk our dog 7 days a week. Here’s hoping!
