Even though most of my communicating with other people happens online (emails, Facebook, etc.) or by text message, that doesn’t mean I don’t still love getting fun things in the mail. For me, there’s nothing better than walking out to the mailbox & finding a letter or package addressed to me! My kids are the same way & love getting mail. My Grandma is so good about writing to them and sending them a $1 each and they have always gotten excited when they receive a letter addressed to them.

One site that I’ve loved for awhile now is Minted. Minted is a fun site that sells stationery, journals, cards and art prints. It was started in 2007 by CEO Mariam Naficy, who had seen how hard it was for graphic designers to get their designs out to the general public. She wanted to bring beautiful, quality stationery to the public and thought that she could create a company offering that and also hold competitions for designers so they could compete with their designs. Five years later, there are minted designers in 43 countries & there have been over 35,000 designs submitted for competitions.

OwlInvite

GASP! While I will NEVER need a baby shower invite, this one from Minted.com is awesome! An owl AND my name? Love it!

For us, the people buying the cards and stationery, that means that we’re able to buy beautiful, quality products all in one place. I find that one of the fun (but stressful!) things about the holidays is picking out Christmas cards. This year I am determined to choose some fun and unique cards. Minted has some great choices to choose from! Check these beauties out:

Minted isn’t just for Christmas Cards though! They make beautiful Wedding Invitations, Save The Date Cards, Baby Shower Invitations, Birthday Party Invitations, Art Prints & SO much more! The process to personalize a card is really simple too. I wanted to see for myself so I started making a Christmas Card (see below). I used an older picture of my kids (how cute are they? They are 14, 10 & 5 now! Who told them they could get big?!) and personalized it with our name. Uploading the picture & personalizing took only a few seconds. After I added it to my cart, it said that I would be sent a digital proof to make sure everything looked great before it was printed.

If you’ve never checked out Minted before (or even if you have!), head on over and check out all the beautiful things that they sell. You can also find them on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. Don’t forget to sign up for Minted’s newsletter (head to their site & scroll down to the purplish bar with the social media info to enter your email address) to stay updated on new products & great deals!
