MOTORWORKS – The Only Customize-able Wooden Toy Vehicles, Accessories and Play Sets Review & giveaway

My 5 year old son is like most kids and loves playing with cars & trucks. When we were asked to review the MOTORWORKS™ Collection from Manhattan Toy (which are the only customize-able wooden toy vehicles, accessories and play sets), we couldn’t wait to get them in the mail! When they did get here, I took everything out of the packaging & put all the stickers on the Tuner Lift Station™, so that it would be all ready for Ryan to play with when he got home from preschool.

When Ryan came home from preschool, he immediately noticed the new toys in the living room. I told him what they were but he was already too busy playing to really listen. I had let him choose which ones he wanted to try out, so he remembered looking at them all on my computer and was so happy to see them in person.

We chose the XT Sport 1.0™ from the Street Series, the FSX Monster Truck 1.0™ from the Extreme Series, a package of 12 extra racing wheels and the Tuner Lift Station™. I really like that these toys don’t have sounds, lights or batteries. They are just fun, solid toys that my son loves playing with.

The MOTORWORKS™ Collection has three different trim levels – Street Series, Speed Series and Extreme Series. What’s great about this is the interchangeable pieces that you can take off one car & snap into place on one of the trucks or the police cruiser. The vehicles are priced from $14.99 to $19.99 and the accessories start at $4.99. The vehicles feature a body made from European Beech wood, realistic styling, convertible chassis that allow you to snap-on accessories to customize your vehicle and interchangeable cabs, rims & smooth, fast rolling wheels.

I was surprised to see that my 10 year old daughter really had fun playing with her little brother. She showed him how to take the wheels off, exchange them for other wheels, how to use the lift in the lift station and more. It kept both of them entertained for quite awhile!

My kids already have asked me to buy more vehicles and accessories so they can “make” new vehicles. I take that as a good sign that they like them a lot!
