Kids Can Master the Kitchen with MasterChef Junior Cooking Sets

If your kids are anything like mine, they probably like helping out in the kitchen. My oldest son (who is almost 18) has always been interested in knowing what ingredients went into a recipe, how to measure things and how to cook certain things. Now that he’s old enough to make a lot of his own food, he likes experimenting with different ingredients and recipes. I wish that when he was younger there was something really cool for him to experiment a little more in the kitchen.

Nowadays, there are a lot more cool toys and gadgets for kids to use in the kitchen. One thing that has caught my eye recently are the MasterChef Junior Cooking Sets. There are 5 different sets to choose from: Burger Cooking Set, Breakfast Cooking Set, Baking Kitchen Set, Pizza Cooking Set and the Cooking Essential Set. All 5 sets come with real cooking tools that come with kid-safe, non-slip silicone grips, 3 unique recipe cards for all levels of experience (line cook, sous chef and master chef), plus a blank recipe card so your child can write down their own recipe!

We received the Baking Kitchen Set. This set includes:

  • a mixing bowl
  • liquid measuring cup
  • rolling pin
  • spatula
  • 4 silicone baking cups
  • 4 dusting guards
  • 4 recipe cards

I love that kids can learn to create new food & recipes with their own two hands! It would be a blast to use these kits in a true Masterchef Junior way and create a challenge for the kids to see what kind of recipes they can come up with on their own!

We’re excited to be donating this awesome set to a local child this holiday season. I hope they enjoy cooking in the kitchen as much as my son did! Which set would you give as a gift?
