A World Full of Wonder with Lilliputiens – Giveaway

*I received a doll from HABA in exchange for this review. All opinions are 100% and my own*

I’ve had the pleasure of doing other reviews for toys from HABA and I have always been impressed with the quality and care that these toys are made with. This time, we were asked if we would like to check out an item from the 2013 Lilliputiens line of toys. HABA is the exclusive US distributor of Lilliputiens!

After looking at the toys, I knew there were some that my daughter would like but since she is older, I wanted to find one for my niece to love. As I came across a particular doll named Lea, I knew that she was the baby doll for my niece! My niece is biracial and there aren’t many dolls that look like her. She loves all kinds of dolls but I just loved the thought of her having a baby that looked just like her!

Baby Lea came to my house first so I could take pictures and get a good look at her. She arrived in a soft, brightly colored bed with handles, that also had a pretty little blanket inside. I really loved the fabric that was used for the bed & bedding. The pinks and oranges are bright and really fun. Lea’s little blanket is reversible and so cute!

Then there is little Lea! Lea is about 8 1/2 inches long so it’s very easy for my niece to pick her up, take her in the car or anywhere she wants to go. Her bed is made with a lot of care and details. Her pajamas have a little hood that is really easy to bring down and show off Lea’s adorable hair-do!  Her outfit is easy to take off & then put back on, making this a great doll for all the little “mommies” and “daddies”.

Lilliputiens is based in Belgium and all of their toys are made by hand in Asia. What I love is all the toys, patterns, fabrics & characters are designed by a team of five moms! Who knows what kids want to play with better than Moms?  Lilliputiens uses soft materials and characters that are trusting, while the handmade & hand sewn toys are made with care & great detail.

Head on over to HABA to see all the great toys and games they sell. After you do that, head on & visit them on FacebookTwitterPinterestGoogle+ & YouTube.
