I’ve always loved the changing of the seasons, especially the change that occurs between summer and fall! I love the drop in temperature, the changing of the leaves and the arrival of two of my favorite holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I love almost everything about the seasons changing, but if I had to name the one thing I don’t like, it would be the allergies that come with it. I’m certainly not a fan of the congestion, the sneezing fits, itchy eyes or the constant tearing up that comes with seasonal allergies (I mean, who is?!) but every time the seasons change, the allergies hit, like clockwork.
My oldest son has had allergies and asthma his whole life. It’s something we always have to deal with and look out for. The weather in California is always unpredictable around this time of year too. Yesterday, it got up to 91°, today it’s 77° and next Monday it looks like rain and 63°! Whenever the weather changes like this, he’s bound to get sick. This year though I was determined to get ahead of the allergies and stop them in their tracks and was thrilled when I was offered the opportunity to review the Honeywell Compact AirGenius 4 Air Cleaner/Odor Reducer.
An air purifier with the ability to filter out the allergens before they unleashed their mischief was exactly what I’d been needing. The Honeywell AirGenius works to provide clean air by capturing up to 99.9 percent of the microscopic particles at 3 microns. It also helps to freshen the air you and your family breathes by absorbing odors while helping reduce airborne gases. This is especially great if you’re an animal lover and have a few family pets at home.
Features of the Honeywell Compact AirGenius include:
- Easy to Clean with permanent washable primary filter
- 4 cleaning levels & filter indicator
- Includes 2 pre-filters to choose from: washable or replaceable odor & gas-reducing
- 2, 4, & 8-hour timer
- Oscillation & allergen intelligence settings
