Health/Weight Loss Recipes Weight Watchers

My weight is something that I have struggled with most of my adult life. When my kids were younger I did Weight Watchers® off & on…I would get to a point where I was losing weight and then think I could eat off-plan for a while and that would sabotage my own weight loss. When Weight Watchers came out with the Freestyle™ program, I knew that it was a program that I could definitely learn and use! I love that so many of the healthy foods I want to eat are zero points, giving me so much flexibility with my eating and weight loss!

One of the biggest obstacles I face when trying to lose weight is having snacks on hand that are good for me (and taste good too!) and items that are simple to make. I’m not someone that loves cooking so I need things that are easy to whip together and will fill me up so I’m not constantly eating.

I love that I can go to my local Walmart store and purchase items that are Weight Watcher endorsed and have the points value right on the package! That saves a lot of time when I am shopping! Plus, these items are things that I would eat even if I wasn’t on plan because they are that good!

This week, I picked up Flatout® Flatbread, JOLLY TIME® Healthy Pop® Popcorn, and Oroweat® Sandwich Thins rolls. The popcorn is a great snack to eat, especially in the afternoon when I have a craving! My favorite flavor is the kettle corn because you get sweet, salty and crunchy all in one yummy snack! Each bag of popcorn is only 100 calories, 3 SmartPoints® value per serving and the only popcorn endorsed by Weight Watchers!

Since I work from home, making lunch is a must but is something that I really struggle with! I tend to run out to grab something a lot because I don’t know WHAT to make, and while I CAN do that and still stay on plan, it’s not the best option to do all of the time! When I plan ahead & eat at home, I will throw seasoned chicken breasts in the crockpot and use that with either the Flatout® Flatbread (love it with Greek tzatziki sauce & veggies) or on an Oroweat® Sandwich Thins roll (love using sugar-free bbq sauce!). Add some fruit, a salad or some greek yogurt and I am set for lunch. It’s just a matter of planning ahead and while that isn’t something I am all that great at, it’s something I really NEED to do!

The Oroweat® Sandwich Thins rolls are an excellent source of fiber, are 3 SmartPoints® value per roll, come in different flavor varieties (Whole Wheat, Honey Wheat, Flax & Fiber) and are great to use for breakfast or lunch.

Flatout® Flatbread is BIG on flavor while HIGH in protein and fiber, are located in in the deli/bakery section of most major grocery stores, and all of the Weight Watchers Endorsed Flatout® Flatbreads are all 2 – 4 SmartPoints® value per serving.
