I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for CWIST. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

It’s almost time for kid’s to get out of school for a couple weeks over the Winter Break. Sometimes it’s hard to find things for all the kids to do for a couple weeks. I did find a new website that may just help with that! CWIST is a site that brings fun activities and service projects to kids, ages 5-10. When a child completes the activity or service project, they are then able to choose a parent approved reward, showing them that hard work really does pay off! These rewards can be anything from a trip to the frozen yogurt shop (one of my kids favorite places to go), a movie, a sleepover with friends or anything that you can think of.

The activities and service projects on CWIST are crowd-sourced from parents, educators, mom bloggers & experts. There are great things that your child can do in your community like fill a bag of canned food & donate it to the food bank, create a lemonade stand and donate the money that was made to a favorite charity or cleaning up a river, lake or stream . There are also CWISTs that can be very beneficial to your family and to your child, like learning how to properly set the dinner table, having your child host & be in charge of Family Game Night or how to write Thank You Notes.

This Holiday Season, CWIST has launched a program called Kids CWIST For Kids. This program gives kids the chance to complete learning challenges in order to give gifts to kids in need. CWIST is donating $2500 in toys in the holiday giving program. Hurry on over to sign up and make a child’s Holiday a little bit brighter this year! If CWIST has given away all $2500 of toys by the time your child is finished with their CWIST, you can still purchase a toy from CWIST partners at a 20% discount and still help a child have a great Holiday!

Head on over & check CWIST out today! You can also find them on Facebook, Twitter & Pinterest.
