Do you go all out for Valentine’s Day or just do cards and a quiet night at home? My husband & I don’t put a ton of emphasis on Valentine’s Day. I’ve told him time & time again that a nice Valentine’s Day card & some flowers from the grocery store (not a florist! They’re too expensive!) is all I need and want. This year, I have gotten him a book he really wanted (I did go all out & get it sent to the author to have him sign it, so that is exciting!) and a funny card to tell him I love him. We always talk about the Valentine’s Day, before kids of course, where we went out to a restaurant and were told we’d have a 2 hour wait. We didn’t want to wait for that long so we grabbed Chinese takeout, took it home & ate it while watching movies. That’s us…easy & laid back.
I picked out a fun card for him from Cardstore.com. Sometimes I get him mushy, heartfelt ones but when I went to Cardstore.com and headed to the funny cards, I knew I was going to choose one of those. Choosing a card and personalizing it at Cardstore.com is so easy, even if you’re never done anything like it before! First, you chose the type of card you want to personalize. Most of the cards have places to personalize on the front of the card with either a picture, writing or both. Both of the cards I chose (I picked one out for my daughter too) had a spot to type in names. What I love is if you don’t like the font or even the wording inside the card, you can change it!
Cardstore.com will even address an envelope & mail your card right to the recipient, making life a little easier! You can also choose the date that you’d like the card to get to your loved ones, so this is a GREAT way to order all your birthday cards for the month but still have them sent out on the right day. There’s so many cards to choose from and so many occasions, like birthday, a new baby, sympathy cards & much more!
